Bayou City Fencing Academy, established in 1994, teaches an Olympic style of fencing classes to junior and adult fencers. Their classes are geared to both the recreational fencer and those who wish to enter the competitive arena. Each session includes physical conditioning, sword strategy, fencing fundamentals, and lots of fencing time. Classes are held in an airconditioned indoor facility.
The instructor for this class is affiliated with The Houston Athletic Fencing Center. All of their instructors have university degrees in the exercise sciences.
