Giant Winter Book Sale
The Friends of the Paul Sawyier Public Librarys
GIANT Winter book sale
will run February 8 - 11 in the Library Community Room.
Note the new Wednesday start day!
No book will be priced over $1!
(no book lover can resist such a bargain!!!)
The first day of the sale is limited to Friends members,
including new friends who buy a membership at the door!
The "Friends only" night is a very popular event!
If you have never attended,
plan on stopping by to see what all the excitement is about!
New memberships and renewals will be available
at the Community Room entrance!
The sale will be open to the general public all day on Thursday and Friday!
Saturday is bag/box day for everyone!
Everything you can fit in a bag is just $2,
and everything you can fit in a box is just $5!!!
There is no limit on the number of bags and boxes!!!
It doesnt get any better than that,
unless, of course, the book you wanted was sold before Saturday!

Flickertail Holler was started in December of 2010 after three would-be friends discovered they all shared the same love and passion for bluegrass music. The name, "Flickertail Holler", came from their desire to honor both states where they were taught music. North Dakota is known as the Flickertail state while a Holler (slang for Hollow) is a small valley located between mountains. Very prominent in Kentucky. Together, they continuously strive to find new sounds to add to their ever expanding repertoire.

With her consistenly striking and dynamic performances, 23 year-old pianist, Natasha Paremski, reveals astounding virtuosity and voracious interpretive abilities. She continues to generate excitement from all corners as she wins over audiences with her musical sensibility and flawless technique. Born in Moscow, Natasha began her piano studies at the age of 4 at the Andreyev School of Music. In 1995, she immigrated with her family to the US and studied at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and the Mannes College of Music in New York. She has won countless awards including top prize in the Young Artists in Carnegie Hall International Piano Festival in 2000, Prix Montblanc 2007, and top prize in the 2002 Bronislaw Kaper Awards sponsored by the Los Angeles Philharmonic.
