Program Summary
As a Pharmacy Technician you will help the pharmacist package or mix a prescription, maintain client records, refer clients to the pharmacist for counseling, assist with inventory control and purchasing, as well as collect payment and coordinate billing. This course combines 182 hours of classroom instruction with a 120-hour externship to provide you with a complete learning experience.

The classic, new and exotic will headline this popular fundraiser, which promises a fabulous display of some 400 antique and vintage cars and trucks. The return of the popular New-Car Row will show the latest models from the 11 dealers of Capistrano Auto Center and others. On display from South County Lexus will be the stunning 2012 LFA sports coupe (starting at $375,000). Cars from all over Southern California are anticipated in the open-class show, with trophies going to the top 15 entries.
One of the most well-attended events in San Juan, more than 1,000 people are expected to enjoy the family-friendly atmosphere including the high-flying Disc Dogs Demo Team, entertainment, food by Las Golondrinas, exhibits and vendor booths, plus excellent prizes. Contributing to the festive surroundings, a number of car owners and guests bring their dogs, which must be well-behaved and leashed.
The Car Show is presented by The Rotary Club of San Juan Capistrano and Capistrano Animal Rescue Effort (CARE) to benefit Rotary Club charities in support of children, youth, military families, and others, and CAREs support of the rescue, humane treatment and adoption of homeless dogs and cats in San Juan Capistrano.
A companion event, the 4th Annual Dr. Joe Cortese Memorial Motorcycle Poker Run which will honor the longtime Rotarian and CARE founding member, is expected to attract several hundred motorcycle enthusiasts from all over Southern California. This years ride will start at 8 a.m. with check-in at Orange County Harley-Davidson, 8677 Research Dr. in Irvine, wend through scenic south Orange County, and finish at the Car Show. Admission to the Show is included in the separate fee.

The program benefits to war era veterans include: a single vet receiving up to $1700 per month, a married vet with spouse receiving up to $2019 per month, and a surviving spouse, up to $1094 per month---all tax free
This Benefit is used to help cover a qualified veteran’s long term care costs in an Assisted Living Community. This free event is offered as a community service for families in Pasadena, surrounding areas, and greater Los Angeles who are up against that age-old dilemma: “What are the kids going to do this summer?” Food and activities make it a fun event for kids of all ages.
Representatives from over 100 camps are on-hand to answer questions. Local, national, and international programs range from day camps to culturally immersive travel. Exhibitors at the fair represent a wide range of opportunities, including outdoor adventure, sports camps, fine and performing arts programs, and tutoring. The fair also features programs, including an extensive listing in the event catalog, dedicated to children with special needs. A community service element highlights opportunities for teenagers as well as volunteer options for adults.

The Caltech Jazz Bands, directed by William Bing, will present their third annual Latin Jazz Concert at 8:00 pm on Saturday, February 4, in Caltech’s Beckman Auditorium.
Special guests will be composer Paul Lopez, vocalist Candi Sosa, Mariachi Alma de Mexico directed by Juan Gonzalez, and percussionists Robertito Melendez and Ricardo “Tiki” Pasillas. There will also be a dance number featuring dancers from Caltechs own Salsa Club.
