Stop in and see fascinating live animals on Tuesday, May 22 from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at the Children’s Museum in Easton. "Animal Happenings" is an informal petting zoo that gives children and the whole family a chance to interact and learn about a new animal each week. This Tuesday, Marla Isaac from New England Reptile and Raptor Exhibits will bring native amphibians and reptiles that can be found in our own backyards! Come and learn more about animals like the black rat snake, eastern painted turtle and green frog.
Animal Happenings does not require registration and is free with admission to the Museum.
Admission is $7.50 per person; members and children under 1 are free. The Childrens Museum in Easton is located in the Old Fire Station at 9 Sullivan Avenue in North Easton, MA. Join us for our next TECPA program, "Understanding the Connection between Vision and Learning,” presented by Dr. John M. Abbondanza, O.D., F.C.O.V.D.
Join us as we learn all the ways that vision issues affect a child’s learning and behavior. Find out about the growing field of behavioral optometry. Learn to identify red flag behaviors which might provide clues to a child’s unidentified vision problem. TECPA is honored to have Dr. Abbondanza bring his wealth of experience to answer these and all your questions related to children’s vision and its link to learning and behavior.
The Early Childhood Professional Association (TECPA)s Professional Development Programs are designed specifically to meet the needs of early childhood and elementary educators, afterschool professionals, program administrators, and family childcare providers.
